There is a small chance for severe thunderstorms for central and eastern
areas of Polk County in the late afternoon. The biggest severe weather
threat will be from strong straight line wind gusts and large hail. To say
exactly where the severe weather will occur will be tough but probably in a
squashed triangle between Haines City, Lake Wales and Winter Haven.
The east and west coast sea breeze boundaries will collide in this area and
if any updrafts can penetrate through the temperature inversion at around
750 mb explosive thunderstorm formation will occur.
There is a fair chance for some much needed rainfall tomorrow.
