north of Bartow. Enter the air base look for the antenna tower,  go through

Hello Neil and LARC members,

 

The Polk EOC is located inside the Bartow Airbase, at the intersection of
US17 and Spirit Lake Road. The street address isn't available, but here is a

I am not sure where to put this, but I wanted to make it available to  
my Bay Area friends before I post it elsewhere. If this is not the  
correct spot, could someone kindly move the posting to the proper spot.

Yaesu FT-901DM (Excellent condition!!!) with SP901, mike, AC and dc  
power connectors. Has fan option installed. Friends have described  
this as close to showroom as they have seen. $550 I will be selling  
this radio this week. Please pass this on to any interested ham. I  
would prefer to sell this locally and not have to ship it.

I can meet someone at Big Bend and US Hwy 301 off I75 Exit 246.

The Ten-Ten International 10 meter group is having their annual convention in Orlando this weekend. On Saturday from 3:35 to about 
5:00PM they will be working 10M from the parking lot of the Holiday Inn, Orland,near the airport. (almost due east of Lakeland)
This may be an opportunity to work 10 meters. You may not be able to hear Orlando but you might be able to work the stations that are working Orlando.  I am sure this group would love to hear some activity on the 10 meter band....
