I do remember steel cans and cheap solder. In fact, if my memory serves me correctly, the instructions that came with the first beer can antenna I read about suggested that you leave the cigarette butts in the can to help absorb excess moisture. :-) Times have sure changed.

Yep,

Quality, not quantity....it was all good beer, too!  That vertical never did 
get built.  Also, one of the members, Ronnie Langevin, WB4OME, became a SK 
last Wednesday in St. Petersburg. I am the last surviving member of that

We appreciate the automatic reminder regarding the monthly ARES meeting, but just want to make sure everyone is aware the meeting schedule has been changed due to the Holiday season.
