A LinkedIn posting from a 9 station, repeated here, states, inter alia,

In the interest of accuracy (what's that ?) the letters are HIPAA, Health Insurance
Portability and Accountabilty Act.  That's two 'A's on the end, not a 'PA'..

Many people with long terms in the IT workplace make this mistake, and honestly
should know better.

If you get into the EmComm world, and have to refer to this, that's how
it is written.
