Skywarn Training

Polk County Emergency Management and Polk County ARES will be hosting National Weather Service Skywarn training on February 23rd at the Polk County Emergency Operations Center.  1890 Jim Keene Blvd, Winter Haven 33880.  The EOC is located off of Winter Lake Road between Lakeland and Winter Haven.  Talk in will be on the 146.985 repeater.

Two class sessions will be offered.  2pm to 4pm or 630pm to 830pm.  Dan Noah WX4DAN from the National Weather Service will be conducting these classes.

Please register for either class via email to billyabernathy at polkfl.com<mailto:billyabernathy at polkfl.com>  These classes are open to the public and everyone is encouraged to invite a friend or neighbor.  Hope to see many of you on February 23rd!
