One benefit  of Lakeland Amateur Radio Club membership is that you not only get to elect the officers and directors but that you also get to nominate candidates for those offices.  You know who will get the job done the way you want it done, thusly you are encouraged to nominate your preferences.  Only requirement is that you have discussed the nomination with your candidate(s) and have their approval. 
 
The nominating committee has selected a slate of officers and directors candidates for the 2012 club year.   The committee worked diligently and has the interest of the club foremost in its decision-making.   But its choices are based on the knowledge of committee members.
 
To nominate one or more persons and get their names on the ballot, (1) get the approval from that person and (2) advise George Mann, KJ4UW, or Rip Van Winkle, AA4HT.  Or you may make nominations at the November meeting (election night) for write-ins.
 
Offices to be filled are president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and five voting directors.
