That was sad news. I will check, but if you find the obit before me, please let me know so I can post it.

Also, the simplex net went well. I joined late, and was surprised that I could reach others. About 18 hams checked in. By far, Julian had the best signal. I also checked in on his 440 repeater.

  I received an e-mail from a daughter of Bob Scott, W9BCN, that her
  father passed away early this morning. Bob donated radio equipment
  to our Club last month. It was a pleasure to meet Bob and his family.

  Please keep the family of Bob in your prayers as they proceed to
  celebrate
  his life in long lasting memories. Bob will be remembered as a friend
  of LARC whenever we use his donated equipment.
