What are we looking for?
Here are just some of my ideas. each/everyone has their own.

1. how to hook them up?
a.  Transceiver then Amp then tuner than antenna

2. proper tuning?
b. by-pass amp,tune antenna to radio low power using tuner.
   then engage amp and tune/tweak....bringing power up on each short session until you meet the Amps loading

3. operation of the unit together?
c. I would suggest to operate each at low power until person gets the hang of it.
   follow the Amp's setup and maintain settings to spec's.

If not sure, don't play, get help.
