LARC Reminder of upcoming events

 Reminder from the Secretary  
 November’s meeting will feature guest speaker Paul Womble, K4FB, project manager for Polk Co EOC. You will not want to miss this event.
  
 Also, there will be a food and donation collection for VISTE this month. They take checks and coins too. Your contributions are especially welcome at this time of year. Your contact is Jim Stewart. 
  
 Don has tickets for the Tampa Bay Hamfest December 12 and 13. Save a buck by getting your tickets in advance. $10.00 at the gate, $9.00 from Don prior to the event.
  
 Finally, it is not too soon to start thinking about the Christmas party. Once again, Jimbo’s will cater this event, and as in years past, the price remains $9.00 per person.

 PS Some of you have commented that the blog slideshows will not play on your phones and pads. This is a problem with flash and these devices. I am looking for a workaround. Until then, you will have to view them on your laptops and towers.
