</div>My wife and I visited with John last night. His spirits are good he has O2 on, there's fluid on his lungs and his blood pressure is low but, they are optimistic about his recovery. The nurse said when he's up to it he can use the HT, the best repeater I can hit from inside his room is the WC4PEM  443.900. Hopefully you will here him soon.

I just spoke with John, KE4UNO, who is in the Bartow Hospital, on the phone.  He advises that he will not be coming home today.  He is waiting for a physical therapist to come in to give him some help on getting his balance back.  He said he cannot stand at this time due to a stroke that occurred 4 days ago.  He advised that it occurred while he was asleep and the first thing he remembers is the paramedics talking to him.  He will be getting more information out as he finds it out but for now he will be in the hospital.
