It was a very good start I'd say last night. Some things to think about to change however it went well.
Thank you Matt for starting it! I know I will be putting my hands to use monday/Tuesday in the shop seeing what I can do for a vertical.
What does everyone feel would be best for us to do this HF net; horizontal/vertical dipole or just straight ground vertical?

We are on 28.306 right now, with 5 or 6 guys. Going well so far!

      Matthew,
We'll give it a go from Zhills, but don't expect much from my Inverted V. On 10m.
We also are working on a CW group on Mon. Eve's, check out the CW Page of the ZAARC.org website for more info. If there is any interest, please email me at my call at ARRL.net

If you need a parachute and don't have one you probably won't need one again.

If anyone is interested, around 8:30 this evening a few of us are going to conduct a test of 10m coverage between club members. We'll probably start a little above 28.300, at the bottom of the Tech SSB band.

Keep an ear out on the repeater around 8:30, I'll announce the actual frequency.

Hope to hear you tonight!
