CubeSats launched

Those of you that use QRZ.com know that there are some interesting articles
posted daily.  

 

There are several schools around the nation and around the world that take
part in designing and launching CubeSats.  They are sent to the ISS and then
astronauts launch them from a special spring loaded launcher.  The latest of
the CubeSats to be launched are listed in this link on QRZ.com.  A good read
and links to the separate schools that built the satellites.  All of them
operate in the ham bands for video and telemetry.  Take a look as this might
spark some interest in a new direction in Ham Radio for some of you.
