[LARC-CQ] Linux assistance inquiry

Would anyone with Linux experience be willing to assist me with installing a REALTEK WiFi USB wireless dongle adapter on my Linux PC? (I'm running Ubuntu 18.04) 
The numerous instructions that I find online for installing a driver for this chipset are running the gamut with procedures that seem all over the map. No two procedures are alike. If someone might be willing to assist me I'd appreciate any help.
