Does anyone have a 2-30mhz 100w bird wattmeter slug I can borrow (or maybe
buy)? I have a meter, but only VHF slugs for it not HF. I've got some
measurements to make that I really need the directional meter for, and
would like to avoid dropping $120 on a brand new slug that I only need for
a short time...

The Rattlesnake Run is indeed on for this month.

October 20th, 2018
1 Mile Race Starts at 9:15am
5 Mile Race Starts at 8:00am
2015 Race Results
2016 Race Results

In addition to the standard 1 mile individual and 1 mile team races, we have
added a 1 mile runner with dog race.  All dogs must remain leashed to a
runner and complete the race without physical assistance.  The top
runner/dog team will be given an award.

The Blog has been updated. New content includes pictures from last month's
meeting and some minor but important text changes to the right sidebar.
Club members are encouraged to arrive early, around 5:30, for refreshments
and general conversation . The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 and end
at 8:00. The facility will remain open until 8:30 to allow those
responsible for packing up equipment and cleanup to do their jobs.

This is a private club on the Sun n Fun Campus that will be open, special

Here are directions to get you there. Go South on Harden until you reach
West Pitkin. Make a right onto West Pitkin and continue for 3.5 miles until

left and eventually join up with Doolittle Road which will take you onto
the Sun and Fun campus. Go right on Doolittle road for a couple hundred
feet to Sun and Fun Road where you will turn left. In another couple
hundred feet you will see the grass parking area on your left.  The Quiet
Birdman hut is behind the now closed FAA building which is shown on the map
below.
