[LARC-CQ] NEW 10 MTR NET 09 APR

I was listening last night and could hear Buddy (WB4OMG) and John (KK4ITX)
with a good bit of noise. Dan, (W3LR -NCS) was 569 here. I did hear KX4LEO,
KN4LEH and KI4MBE enough to copy the call sign, plus a station from
Kentucky that was there briefly. I didn't add my check-in to the noise as
my antennas are low take-off and would likely not have been heard. I'll rig
up an NVIS vertical for next Thursday. I'm located in EL88xb, for reference.

This is an excellent endeavor and one that could prove very important in
time of emergency. As for relays on the net, I think this is an area where
we could all use the practice. It is called it the American Radio *RELAY*
League, after all. Kudos to John for the inspiration and I can't think of
two more knowledgeable people than Dan and Buddy to have on the project. 73
