I would be OK with that. There is a bit of a learning curve with using Zoom - for participants and for the hosts, but that can be handled. The free version limits the number of participants and imposes a 40 minute time limit. The $15 per month for the commercial version would be affordable for the club, I think. I will pursue the issue with the Board of Directors and post to the blog and send an email. Curiously enough, I'm in a Zoom meeting at this very moment with Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico and a host of other countries. Thanks for the suggestion. 73 Mike, N6MRS On Fri, Jun 12, 2020 at 4:07 PM wrote: > Send CQ mailing list submissions to > cq at lists.lakelandarc.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.lakelandarc.org/listinfo.cgi/cq-lakelandarc.org > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > cq-request at lists.lakelandarc.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > cq-owner at lists.lakelandarc.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of CQ digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. 73 > > Mike, N6MRS > >> On Fri, Jun 12, 2020 at 4:07 PM wrote: >> Send CQ mailing list submissions to >> cq at lists.lakelandarc.org >> >> To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit >> http://lists.lakelandarc.org/listinfo.cgi/cq-lakelandarc.org >> or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to >> cq-request at lists.lakelandarc.org >> >> You can reach the person managing the list at >> cq-owner at lists.lakelandarc.org >> >> When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific >> than "Re: Contents of CQ digest..." >> >> >> Today's Topics: >> >> 1. This year, the Club can earn up to 100 points for message handling during the Field Day event on the VHF and UHF bands. Here is the rule: *7.3.6. Message Handling: 10 points for each formal message originated, relayed or received and delivered during the Field Day period, up to a maximum of 100 points (ten messages). Copies of each message must be included with the Field Day report. The message to the ARRL SM or SEC under Rule 7.3.5. does not count towards the total of 10 for this bonus. Available to all Classes. All messages claimed for bonus points must leave or enter the Field Day operation via amateur radio RF.* The only stipulation is that *this traffic must be passed in simplex mode ? repeater contacts do not count*. Traffic must be sent and received over the air, in Radiogram format. Save a copy so the Club can submit this with the other documents after the event. Simply pick a fellow ham, put both your radios in simplex mode, send and receive the traffic. I have already made arrangements for the message to the ARRL Section Manager. 73, Mike, N6MRS -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Please submit your logs online (and get the 50 point bonus for doing so) *under your own call sign*. Select *Lakeland ARC* in the field for "Club or Group Name" when you submit your individual log. Once I have everything together for the Club, I'll submit that on behalf of the club under the K4LKL callsign. I have received the radiograms to the EC and a few other things. If you have something we can use, please get it to me as soon as you can. I hope everyone had an enjoyable Field Day this year. 73 Mike, N6MRS On Mon, Jun 29, 2020 at 11:27 AM wrote: > Send CQ mailing list submissions to > cq at lists.lakelandarc.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.lakelandarc.org/listinfo.cgi/cq-lakelandarc.org > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > cq-request at lists.lakelandarc.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > cq-owner at lists.lakelandarc.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of CQ digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > > 1.
