I am not sure that I understand. Does this mean that any club member can send a message to the SM or SEC and the club get credit for it? The traffic can be sent via any band or mode?

Therefore, no need to change to simplex, just send your traffic over the K4LKL or other repeated and get 10 points for the club. Sorry for the confusion.

Copies of each message must be included with the Field Day report. The message to the ARRL SM or SEC under Rule 7.3.5. does not count towards the total of 10 for this bonus. Available to all Classes. All messages claimed for bonus points must leave or enter the Field Day operation via amateur radio RF.

Save a copy so the Club can submit this with the other documents after the event. Simply pick a fellow ham, put both your radios in simplex mode, send and receive the traffic.
