I think that I joined LARC around 2014. Since then we have been booted out of or decided to leave on our own for spatial reasons, at least 6 times that I can remember, this would be 7. I commend the board for being able to find us even temporary space to hold VE Sessions and Meetings when they were needed.
>From what I know, Parkview meets all of our needs and then some with the only issue being the change in meeting nights (no biggie to me). Parkview has welcomed us with open arms at minimal expense.
I have not seen any good reasons stated to make the change, if there are some let's hear them because we probably won't be able to return once we leave.
On another note we need to have some folks step up and pick up the slack for Treasurer and Secretary, it's a shame that with as many members as we have in LARC that there are only 2 people running for the top four offices. Certainly there are many qualified individuals capable of stepping forward........... if you've never been an officer and you're over 20 yrs, it's time to step up !

With the news that Parkview Baptist will be opening it’s doors again soon for post-COVID meetings, the board would like to know your thoughts on our meeting location. The Florida Air Museum/Sun-n-Fun approached us a few months ago about the club using their facilities,. This was great timing since Parkview has been unavailible since early 2020. There are many possibilities for the LARC’s future involvement at the Air Museum, including holding meetings there - but the board of directors wants to know what you think!
Important to note, there is ongoing construction at the Sun-n-Fun facility. This will be completed soon, and if we were to hold meetings there in the future, they would be indoors in an air conditioned space. So, if you had negative opinions about our meetings at Sun-n-fun due to the temporary, outdoor nature of the meetings, that would not be a concern in the future.
Please click this link https://forms.gle/xmDBe7L5UKYMdnHr7 to fill out the short survey, so the board can get a better understanding of what you, the members, think about our meetings!
