Please read the whole email once or twice and send your response, thoughts and ideas back to me with the Hashtag #Ham Library.

As close as I can figure, I think that I have around $1,000 in books of and having to do with Ham Radio, Electronics, Computer Programming and Micro Controller (Arduino, Pic and Pi). Lots of QRP material including DVDs of magazines/newsletters going back to the 60’s.

I do read them from time to time but now use them mostly for reference. I am sure that I am not alone with a bulging library and limited needs.

So my thought is that between the three clubs, ZAARC, LARC and EPARS, we can set up a Ham Traveling Library where there is a central database of inventory, a request method and “pony express” delivery system.

I envision at least two (a responsible person and a backup) from each club to really make it all work. This will take some time and effort to develop, it will not be available much before January 1.

I need your thoughts and insights and some volunteers from each club to make it work if there’s interest.

Your thoughts are appreciated and needed especially if you are interested in using this resource.

Again, please give it some thought before responding…… #Ham Library
