five May's since I have lived at this location in south Lakeland. It
is the second wettest May I have seen going back to 1965. </FONT></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial size=2>The wettest May occurred in 1980 with
17.50" measured. This was measured in Dade City which is approximately 30 miles
NW of Lakeland.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>

<DIV><STRONG><FONT face=Arial size=2>Parts of NE Florida between Daytona Beach
and Jacksonville have surpassed 25" in the past four days.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
