Good afternoon everyone…...<br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class=""><br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class="">As Rich reminded us yesterday the club has a very busy week with 2 events this Saturday.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class=""><br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class="">At this moment I have only 3 of the 8 positions needed filled for the Warrior Walk. ( We could use up to 11 but I am trying to keep our commitment to the bare minimum.) 1 operator at each water stop station ( total of 4) and 4 operators to shadow 4 key organizers of the event and be sure they communicate their needs with each other through net control. For those who may not know the Warrior Walk honors the memory of Florida Service men and women who gave their lives in defense of our country. All wars and conflicts are remembered but most of the families present lost their loved one’s in Afganistan and Iraq. In past years the crowd has averaged 1500 to 2000 attendees.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class=""><br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class="">The assignments are really easy and since this is my 3rd Warrior Walk I can tell you they are very emotionally fulfilling as well.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class=""><br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class="">I understand everyone cannot attend for various good reasons. I know how crazy my weekends can be. As a fellow club member I would like to ask each of you to take one more look at your early morning schedule this Saturday. 7:30AM and 10:30AM ( at the latest) This will allow time to attend our LARC Tailgate Party as well.<br style="line-height: 1.22em;" class="">All you need is an HT.
