    <p>Gentlemen  major work has been under way to set up an MCW system
      on the National simplex 146.52 frequency.<br>
    </p>
    <p>N7CUC  would be the initial system controller.</p>
    <p>I am 94 years old and have come down with some serious medical
      issues that will keep me in the chair with my foot elevated. <br>
    </p>
    <p>I have been digilenty working on cheap hardware for those that do
      not have the equipment. </p>
    <p>This is not a club sanctioned project. It's just a group of hams
      that want to get there speed above the 10 words per minute mark.</p>

        from my QTH and that should work for many of us but I guess that
        the intention was to get the 2m folks involved with CW, and
        since most do not have rigs capable of SSB or CW on 2m the only

      <div>Perhaps it was just a couple of guys/gals thinking out loud.
         My FT-818 may make it to Lakeland, I do get beyond I-4 on
        Simplex FM so CW might go further ?  My thoughts was to do
        something that most if not all could participate in if given the
        opportunity.</div>

            Closer reading discloses that you are interested in MCW. My
            old FT-847 will transmit CW as will Mike’s 817(?)

                  local CW gathering on RF, has anything been happening
                  towards that endeavor or was is just a flash in the
