<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I called the Lakeland office (OMG!!!) and the lady with whom I spoke said that my license plate is merely a "personalized" plate and there is no "amateur radio" plate difference. All are "vanity" plates. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">She checked with a "supervisor" and got the SAME answer. When I asked what the replacement fee would be for my "amateur" plate they said they had no idea. When I asked if they could look up my license plate the lady said she couldn't because the license plate is going to expire, thus preventing her from looking it up. And I tried calling the main FL DMV 800 number but they're not accepting phone calls at this time because they're too busy with other customers.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Not sure what my options are other than going in and having them register it incorrectly.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Any suggestions?</div><div><br></div>

When I went to renew my amateur radio license plate online it said that it had to be replaced and I had to call the office. (Will call them Monday morning) Has anyone else gone thru the procedure? Will I be able to get the same one with my callsign? Anyone know?
