<br>
It is with a heavy heart that I send this message that I will be<br>
stepping down as Section Manager of the West Central Florida section<br>
effective February 1.<br>
<br>
Due to medical issues that have arisen, I find myself unable to fully<br>
execute the duties of the position, and as opposed to staying on and<br>
doing less than what a Section Manager should do, I made the hard choice<br>
to step down.<br>
<br>
At my request, Darrell Davis, KT4WX will be taking over the role of<br>
Section Manager. Darrell has many years of experience in section<br>
leadership and I know I will be leaving WCF in good hands. I have<br>
discussed this with Mickey Baker, N4MB as well as the Field Organization<br>
leadership in ARRL Headquarters and we are all in agreement that this is<br>
the right thing to do.<br>
<br>
Although my tenure as Section Manager has been brief, it has been an<br>
honor and a privilege to lead the West Central Florida section, and I<br>
hope to be involved again down the road.<br>
