Forwarding some more information.
As soon as I hear from Paul Womble or Billy (EOC) I will advise.
Till then, please make sure you have secured anything that can
be blown around, as we will be on the leading windward side,
the North East Side, of the storm as the tracks are playing out.

Subject: [WCFARES] TS-FAY Information as of 19:00 Hours Local Time Saturday
We will use the 7:30 PM WCF Information Time slot Sunday Evening to cover
all of the activities with regards to TS-Fay which is currently on a track
(subject to change) to make landfall as a category 1 Hurricane in Sarasota
County on Tuesday afternoon approx. 3-4 PM then proceed North through
Manatee County and enter Tampa Bay approx. 8 PM Tuesday as a category 1
Hurricane then continue North through Pasco, Hernando, Citrus Counties, etc.
which would leave most of the WCF on the Windward side of this storm. So now
is the time to make last minute preparations to be ready to serve.
I will be attending a Pinellas County Disaster Advisory Committee Meeting
at 3 PM tomorrow. Fred Nasar, KD8AQ has mentioned already that there will be
a State Wide County Conference Call tomorrow afternoon and following that
call and the DAC meeting I will be passing along any information and
requesting information from each of our Emergency Coordinators as to what
their needs might following landfall of this storm. The Sections Managers,
Section Emergency Coordinators, the ARRL and the State EOC will be talking
with each other via Conference calls as needed. We have already been in
voice contact with each other during each of our Sections Emergency Nets
today. Please contact your Emergency Coordinator/Radio Officer and let him
or her know about your availability to assist if needed during this Storm
Event. Shelter Operators are highest on the
list of needed Communicators. The Maximum amount of time you should expect
to serve before be being relieved is 5 days.
ANY AMOUNT OF TIME YOU CAN VOLUNTEER YOUR SERVICES WILL BE GREATLY
APPRECIATED BY ALL OF US.
PLEASE MONITOR THE NI4CE REPEATER SYSTEM FOR ANY UPDATES TO THIS
INFORMATION.
