    Gentlemen:

    I just received your mailing regarding the Field Day operation this
weekend. First let me introduce myself:

    I am one of the original club founders, we got together in Christina
Park and decided to start the club. The club bought a transmitter/receiver
and I designed, built and programmed the controller that controlled it for
years. It was located on the hospital (LRMC). I don't know if any of the
original founders are still alive, maybe you can let me know. I received my
first license in 1938 while in Junior High School in Shawnee, Okla. Since
then I have always held the top license grade.

    I am planning to become active again soon and would like to get
reconnected. Also I have a lot of experimenter parts I would like to donate
to some one who would use them. My Morse code put me in good standing in the
Navy in WWII (CL-56, USS Columbia, Light Cruiser, electronics officer)

    I would like to hear from some one who is interested.
