NWS Melbourne Snow Forecast

Hi Ron here in Lakeland beginning at 5:05 am I've had a mix of light rain/sleet-ice pellets/snow grains-snow graupel. The temp is 34 deg.

  Rain and sleet here this morning at 6. I have some minor accumulation of sleet on the blankets over the plants and on my mailbox and newspaper tube. The temperature just dropped below 32 so we may experience some freezing rain soon.

    NWS Melbourne is still forecasting a rain/sleet-ice pellet/snow mix probability later tonight and Saturday. 

    NWS Tampa Bay is no longer mentioning any frozen precipitation.

    It did snow in the western panhandle of north Florida this morning. Snow was reported at Destin, Mary Esther, Panama City, and Valparaiso, all official NWS observing stations.
