*Flying Tigers and Polk County Team Up*

The Lakeland Flying Tigers and Polk County Emergency Management have teamed
up to host an Emergency Preparedness Night on *Wednesday, June 12*. The
event will begin when the gates to Joker Marchant Stadium open at 5:30 p.m.
and will continue throughout the game as the Flying Tigers battle the
Bradenton Marauders. First pitch will cross home plate at 6:30p.m.

For the tenth consecutive year, Minor League Baseball is partnering with
the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Ready Campaign and Citizen Corps
Program to educate and empower Americans to prepare for and respond to
emergencies including natural disasters and potential terrorist attacks.
This is the fourth season the Flying Tigers have participated in the
campaign.

On June 12 members of Polk County's Community Emergency Response Teams
(CERT) will be at the game distributing ready materials and will be
available to answer any questions from fans. There will be PSA audio and
video messages, trivia questions, games and contests throughout the game to
educate fans. There will be information regarding hurricane preparedness as
the beginning of June also marks the beginning of Hurricane season.

Tickets for all home games are available by calling the Flying Tigers at
(863) 686-8075 or visiting the stadium box office. Box seats are $6 and
reserved seats are $5 and seniors 55 and over and children 14 and under
receive a $1 discount. Wednesday nights Purchase an All-You-Can-Eat ticket
for $10 and fill up on hot dogs, hamburgers, Polish sausages, popcorn,
pretzels, Cracker Jacks and chips from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Parking is FREE.
