[LARC-CQ] Field Day is only nine days away!

According to the Blog there are only nine days until Field Day. This is a
wonderful event, especially if you are new to Ham Radio. Remember, as a
Tech, you can call HF, as long as someone with the appropriate license is
nearby. Don't be bashful. Watch what is going on first, ask some questions
about the procedure for making a call, then ask one of the operators for a
chance to join in on the fun. Your fellow hams will be more than happy to
give you a shot at making a contact. Go for it.

Setup begins Friday June 21st, 3:30 PM. New Hams especially will learn a
lot by participating. It is truly amazing to see all the antennas go up. Be
prepared to roll up those sleeves and help get the show on the air. Once
you see how it is done, you will be itching to try out some of the ideas in
your own backyard.
