I suppose it depends on your needs and application. I’m not familiar with the rig but know generally what it is. I’m not a QRP guy, but if I wanted to be I could dial down the power on my 891. 891 is not an all band rig like the 818 but offers more power for HF operation (100 watts). I felt like the 891 was more bang for my buck for what it’s worth. For VHF/UHF, at 6 watts in the 818 you essentially are limited to the same power as an HT.
